India is one of the fastest growth stories across the world's major economies. The driving force behind this growth is a slew of economic reforms introduced in India in the 1990s. Family investment vehicles - called family offices - are burgeoning as India mints new billionaires every year. At least 100 family offices have sprung up in the past decade. Prominent among them are Ratan Tata's RNT Associates, NR Narayana Murthy's Catamaran Ventures, Burman Family Holdings, Harsh Mariwala's Sharp Ventures, Premji Invest, Damani Group's Artha India Ventures, and Ronnie Screwvala's Unilazer Ventures.
