Years ago, when I first searched for quotes about wealth, I found many but they were all quite negative! “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven.” “The love of money is the root of all evil.” There are recent books on the ‘dark side' of wealth and even one promoting a state of ‘freedom from wealth'. Below are some quotes that I hope are provocative. Our New York discussion group finally had a session on ‘The Joy of Wealth'. We would welcome any of your comments on this tantalising topic.
