Crossing back to the family dynamics side, we are pleased to publish a ground-breaking article by Valerie Remoquillo-Jenni (Zurich) describing a new model. The model is rooted in the recent theories of positive psychology. Extensive research permeates the article. She explains that, ?The THRIVE Framework builds on wellbeing theory and practice, robust research from positive psychology and associated fields as well as prevailing family governance approaches.? The framework can be used to set criteria for wellbeing that is tailored to the unique context of families of wealth. She explains in detail how THRIVE can be used as a guide for informed and structured conversations within the family and between the family and its advisers. Why the acronym? THRIVE stands for six dimensions of family wellbeing: Treasure, Health, Relationships, Identity, Values and Empowerment.
