From the horse's mouth - some messages are best heard from father

Next we have a wonderful article by Daniel Martineau (Geneva). Daniel had suggested that readers might be interested in some of the cases he has encountered during his career with family trusts. What is fascinating is his premise that whatever outside advisers can achieve, nothing is as meaningful as messages that come directly ?from the horse's mouth? - the family patriarch in most cases. The cases, the names of which have been altered for privacy, illustrate that point better than any adviser's language could. They should influence the advice from others to encourage lifetime utterances.
