A mindful perspective on wellbeing in the law

The legal profession has become interested in wellbeing as a measure of success, most recently in light of two US studies published in 2016. These studies indicate that wellbeing in the law is deeply compromised, negatively affecting law student and attorney competence. Mindfulness is an effective, scientifically validated path to wellbeing. Already offered in numerous corporations, schools, and even the British Parliament,mindfulness training is also making impressive inroads into law school curriculum and law firm training.
