Prospects and challenges for the rule of law

In this article we offer some observations on the prospects and challenges for the rule of law in the years to come, in both its domestic and international applications. It is clear that efforts to improve the rule of law are not a straight line forward; there will be two steps forward, followed by a step back. These efforts are more of a marathon than a sprint.
