The Mentor's Mentor - The mentor in the mirror
Vol. 5 - Iss. 1 pp. 62–64
This may be a difficult read, inspiring but yet somewhat uncomfortable to the mentor/leader who looks at the outside before the inside. It will be somewhat awkward for the leader who is trigger happy to fire commands and has expectations of those around him or her to do things that they will not do themselves. Looking at the man in the mirror for me has been the most challenging part of being a mentor and even more challenging as more responsibility has been taken on as I have progressed in my leadership roles as a mentor, thought leader and entrepreneur - but isn't that what I wanted? I will answer this later on.
