Burnout. Quiet quitting. Depression. Great Resignation. Stress. Anxiety. Drug abuse. Alcoholism. These terms, once distant from the legal profession, have now become all too common in our line of work. Notable organizations such as the UIA, IBA, and ABA have taken steps to establish wellbeing-dedicated chapters and conferences. Software providers have recognized the importance of this matter with dedicated reports and white papers. And the legal community is finally engaging in delicate conversations, also because of the impact of mental wellbeing on revenues and management of Gen Z professionals.
