Legal design is, in simple terms, a discipline for the creation of legal documents adopting a human-centric perspective. In the last few years, due to the rise of legal design projects and examples around the world, it has become one of the 'next big trends' in the legal field. Indeed, the idea of using methodologies such as design thinking or visual design to clarify legal content and streamline procedures appeals to both consumers/clients, law firm managers, and legal professionals. It is also true, however, that most stakeholders tend to overestimate the outcome of the process (the document, policy, contract) and underestimate the principles behind it.
